We have BIG news!
We are adopting a baby (who happens to be rocking an extra chromosome)! We are working with the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network to bring our baby home.
After two back to back miscarriages in 2020 and the final diagnosis I could no longer sustain a pregnancy, we felt the Lord pulling us down a different path. We decided to grow our family through adoption, and feel beyond blessed for this calling!
We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Your donation will be tax deductible. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms this process.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We appreciate all the prayers and support for everyone joining on us this incredible journey.
