We have BIG news!
We are adopting each other!
I am beyond excited and am doing everything i can to be prepared to permanently welcome two beautiful new lives into my home. As part of our adoption process, I have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of [$30,000] to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
Me and the kids hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community i hope to build around my children as they grow up. Many of you already are part of this over the 1st 15 months. They have already found family, friends, mentors, sister friends, brother friends, comradery in sports, church, strong male role models, leaders, young men walking in the right direction, dads and grands, uncles and aunties, grandma and Sunday family suppers but most importantly a mom who loves them even through the tuff stuff who would protect and defend and run through fires for them. And even 4 older wiser brothers (my bios) uncles (my brothers) and an auntie my older sister.
They have been with me for 15mths, 1st placement for them and have asked me to be their mom. They didn’t know I was asking to be their mom as well. So now it’s time to move this forward to forever.
