The McGann Family: We (Gabriel and Amanda) have been married for 7 1/2 years. We met in the Istanbul airport, and got married a year later. We have been excited about adoption since we were engaged and talking about our future big family. Years later after what felt like ages waiting for our big family we discovered that our entire family would grow through the process of adoption. Two years ago to the week, Gideon was born in Hot Springs and we received the call the next day. The following day we arrived in Arkansas to meet our incredible son who would grow far beyond the doctor&'s expectations of "well, he MAY walk someday" to his physical therapist saying, "drop kicking a ball is a four year old milestone, he is only 20 months old?!" It has been a joy to parent our favorite boy, and we are so excited to see how God continues to grow our family, and we are once again we are humbled to start the adoption process and Gideon is excited for a new member of the McGann clan.
