As most of you know, China has always been a big part of our lives. Even before we were dating, Pat once told Amy that the perfect family would be 3-4 boys and then a little girl. Well, God already (and surprisingly) gave us the 4 four boys. Now we are praying for Him to open the doors to bring a little girl from China into our family.

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a daughter into our home. As part of our adoption process, we are asking for your help and support. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help us bring our little girl home.

    Matched and Moving Forward

    October 8, 2024

    Thank you to all for your continued prayers and support. We are so excited to introduce you to Kusum. She is 8 years old, living in Hong Kong. We have been pursuing her for about 3 years, and recently received our official match to adopt her.

    Next steps include immigration approval, High Court Order from Hong Kong, and then travel to bring her home. We have already had one video call with her, and are so excited to meet her face to face. Prayer requests include these last few steps of the process to be completed in a timely manner, financial aid for these final expenses, peace in Kusum's heart for this monumental life change she will be experiencing, and preparation for our own family to receive her into our lives.
