We are adopting!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome these two beautiful children back into our home. This 13-yr-old sister and 10-yr-old brother came to live with our family this past summer as part of an orphan hosting program…and they quickly stole our hearts! They are both amazing kids and immediately fit right into our family. We are so excited to welcome them back home as soon as possible.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more for one child. This is why we have set a goal of $50,000 to help ease the overwhelming financial burden. We are prepared to pay the additional $10,000-$20,000 needed for adopting these two children at the same time.
Donations made here are tax-deductible and may qualify for your employer's matching programs. However, if you do not have a matching program and you would like to avoid the 5% transaction cost, you are welcome to make donations directly to us in person or through Facebook.
