We have BIG news!!
Many people that know us personally, know that Brent and I have felt God's calling to add a little one (or ones) to our family through adoption:)
We have been married for 16 years and Brent will tell you from a very early point, He knew that he wanted us to foster and/or adopt one day! I also felt God leading us to that but I took a little more convincing. August of 2017 was when we took the leap of faith and started Foster care training. November 14, 2017 our beautiful foster children came into our life! They were with us 6 months while their mom worked her program and they were reunited in June of this year!
Since then, we have decided to pursue adoption and are in the beginning stages of fundraising and signing with an adoption consultant/agencies.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
