Our journey started 17 years ago when we first began our struggle with infertility. Adoption always felt overwhelmingly right to us, but the timing always felt off. Fast forward to present, and adoption still feels overwhelmingly right for us and the the last two years we have realized that the time to do it is now.
Our family consists of 3 wonderful children with their own beautiful needs. In our family we celebrate our differences and want to empower our children to celebrate them as well. We have an amazing community around us of occupational therapists, speech therapists, doctors, teachers, etc., that are cheering with us for our kids every step of the way.
We are hoping to adopt an older child from an orphanage in Taiwan who is in a similar stage of life with our other children. We want this child to know how wonderful they are, how much they are loved, and that we will be their biggest cheerleaders through life.
