We are John and Morgan Merkel! We have our sweet son Clarke, he is almost 3 and just such a joy!! We both felt the call to adopt before we got married but we have spent the last 2 years really praying over our decision and we are so excited to follow that call. Adoption is such a great picture of the Gospel and what God has done. We cannot wait to see the sweet baby God has in store for our family. Clarke is going to be the best big brother!!

Hi everyone! We are asking for your prayers as we are reaching the one year mark of actively presenting to mamas very soon. Our family has presented to 26 mamas and had one failed self match this year, so it’s been a very long year. We know God is still faithful throughout all of this. We know that God can do abundantly more than we ever could imagine. In the same way, we are both also feeling the weight of the past year. Please join us in praying for endurance, peace and strength to continue doing what we know God has called us to do.
