We are embarking on our greatest adventure yet and are beyond thrilled to announce that we are adopting!
We have known that we have wanted to adopt for years, but earlier this year felt God calling us to adopt now. When we learned that India has over 20 million orphans living within it's borders, we knew that this would be where our child will be from. The need is so great.
We began the home study process in April and were just home study approved!! This is the first huge step in the adoption process. We are so thankful for all we learned through the process, but are also so happy to check it off the list!
Our adoption will cost approximately $35,000.00. The number seems staggering at first, but we have to remember that with God everything is possible. He has already provided beyond our imaginations and we were able to save $15,000.00 to get the process started. We have set a goal to fundraise $17,000.00. We will continue to save and apply for adoption grants to help to ease the financial burden.
We invite you to come alongside us in this process in prayer and support. We cannot do this alone. Adoption truly takes a village. We thank you for being a part of our village and helping bring our little one home.
