Surprise! We are adopting and we are just as surprised as you this time!

After adopting our son a few years ago the thought of adopting again had crossed our minds. However, when we received a call from our adoption agency that our son’s biological mom is pregnant and would like us to adopt the baby my heart immediately said yes! Being able to raise our son’s biological half brother or sister with him would be a blessing for us and our son.

This is now the difficult part…we were not preparing to adopt so we have not had time to save money for the adoption costs as we did previously. Time is of the essence as the baby is due in January 2025!!! We have decided to do this crowdfunding campaign to help with the costs. It may be surprising to hear that adoption related costs can easily total $35,000 or more! We have set a goal of $25,000 to ensure that we can cover the adoption fees with our amazing Adoption Agency.

I know times are difficult for many especially with the holidays. If you are able to assist in any way it is greatly appreciated. Please feel to share our story with others.

It's a.......GIRL!!!!

We are so thankful for all our family and friends that have contributed to our fundraiser. We appreciate it so very much.

Today the Baby Sprinkle was also a last minute Gender Reveal!

The biological mom was CERTAIN that the baby was a boy. She was referring to the baby as little man which I call Robert that quite often! Thursday she was seen by a doctor and during her ultrasound was SHOCKED when the doctor revealed that the baby is a GIRL!!!

I was definitely hoping for a girl but honestly at the end of the day we just pray that the baby is healthy. I can't wait to see big brother Robert with his little sister 🥰
