A stirring in our hearts for adoption has been years in the making. We truly believe that God has a very special child He wants to add to our home, and we are prayerfully and diligently working towards making it happen!
Dustin and I are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. Madison is filled with anticipation about becoming a big sister and we are seeking out every community resource to prepare and cover costs as they come.
While health issues are a part of our story, adoption has been something we felt called to as a family for quite some time. But making it happen will take a God-sized miracle!
As part of our adoption process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. Adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. We are trusting that God has a plan for bringing this little one to us, and we've set up this goal as one of many ways to ease the financial hurdle.

Years ago, one particular Bible verse stuck in Laura's heart and began to form the way she viewed the world. "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute." Proverbs 31:8 (NIV). This verse speaks so strongly to our hearts right now. The calling to adopt is so deep on so many levels, and we humbly ask God to guide the process as He sees fit.
