Big news: we are adopting baby #2!
We are excited to announce that all our paperwork has been completed and we have been accepted into the Boys and Girls Aid “Infant Adoption” program!
We are doing everything in our power to prepare our hearts and our home for a new baby. However, it may surprise you to learn that our adoption program costs $33,000! When we adopted Nate in 2018, we had spent many years saving-up money for the process. We were very proud to have paid all our adoption fees ourselves! Unfortunately, we don’t have that privilege for adoption #2, so we have set up this crowdfunding campaign to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
This was a hard decision for us, as we do not take crowdfunding for granted. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community that makes families like ours possible. Thank you for sharing in the experience of adoption with us!
