We are Nic and Barb. We have been married for 13 years. We have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Faith (8) and Karis (3). We would love to add more children to our family through adoption. We are pursuing a domestic infant adoption. Our forever child could be a boy or girl, any ethnicity and could have special needs or not. Being a strong Christian family we know we need Jesus Christ each day in our lives. His love, forgiveness, grace and mercy has been extended so lovingly to us and we would be honored if we could share that with a child and help take care of them for the rest of their lives. We feel that God has put this passion for adoption in our hearts. After having our first daughter and seeing how important it is for a child to have unconditional love made our hearts break to think that there are children out there that are not getting this kind of love. There are too many children in this world who are hurting because they don't have a home with loving and caring parents to give them a solid foundation to start their lives. We believe that children need to know that they are special and that they are loved. We also feel that they need structure, encouragement, and guidance for the choices they make at a young age so that they will know how to make wise choices on their own when they are adults. So much of a child's future depends on them having a caring and loving family as they grow up. We want our home to be that loving and caring place that they know and love as they grow and develop into adults. Thank you for reading and getting to know why we would be honored to adopt.
