Hello! We're Nathan & Libby, and we're in the process of growing our family through adoption. Adoption has always been a big part of Libby's life, as her earliest memories in life are when her family went through the adoption process to bring her little brother home. She's always known that she wanted to pursue adoption when the time was right. Similiarly, Nathan grew up with friends and family members who were adopted, so he always understood that adoption is another beautiful way that God brings families together.
We met in November 2018, got engaged in December 2019, and planned our wedding for April 11, 2020, not knowing what was on the horizon with the upcoming covid pandemic. We were still married that day with only our parents present, and it turned out to be such a lovely time for us. It was a beautiful day! Soon after our wedding, Libby was diagnosed with two different medical issues that made it clear we we wouldn't be able to have biological children. What surprised us during this time is that we immediately felt at peace and realized that this was the Lord directing us to begin the adoption process - and boy, were we excited to get that started! Adoption has never been a last resort for us. We believe this has been God's plan for our lives all along, and we're excited to see where He takes us!

We ask that you'll pray with us for the expectant moms who will view our family profile book - that they will make the best decision for their child, whether that's through adoption or through parenting, and that regardless of their decision, that they'll remain safe and healthy, and that they'll trust the Lord in His direction throughout their lives. We ask that you'll pray for these sweet babies being born - for their health & safety, and that wherever they're raised, they'll know fully that they are loved and wanted. And we ask that you'll pray for us as we continue through this process, that the Lord will continue to provide financially and give us peace and a willingness to trust Him. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help cover a small portion of our various adoption expenses and attorney fees. It's a large amount, but we're stepping out in faith, believing that our God will provide as He always has throughout our lives.
