We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. We are working with a local lawyer, therefore the cost is less than most. However, we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden.
Pete and I have always wanted to adopt, and we felt like now is the time. Our plan is to bring home a newborn from South Dakota. We are working with the Hughes Law Office. They have a passion for adoption and have been fabulous to work with thus far. They are putting together our profile to give to birth moms.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
