Glenda Jones

is adopting a child from United States of America

Almost there! We invite you to share in our adoption journey. Mason and I have been chosen by a birthmother in Baton Rouge to be the family for a baby girl due the first week of November . Mason, now six, has been asking for "more people." He wants a sister. He loves babies, and so do I. I am committed to adopting another child through an adoption agency in Baton Rouge. They brought Mason into my life, and they helped to match us with a baby sister for Mason due in November. I am a single mother and professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in beautiful Menomonie, WI. We have a wonderful community and loving and supportive friends. We are a transracial family, and I do everything I can do to promote equity, diversity, and inclusivity in our community. If you would like to read more about Mason&'s adoption story and our life together, please visit my blog: http://keepinupwiththejoneses-jonesgl.blogspot.com/ and watch our story on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3MMZ_6MVRA- Please share our campaign. The money raised went toward the cost of our home study, but we have a short way to go to reach our goal of 6,000. I have been paying birth mother expenses such as rent, food, clothing, phone, medical, travel, etc. There are also agency fees and legal expenses as well as travel expenses for me. Then there will be finalization expenses. I invite you to make a tax deductible donation of as little as $5, $10, $100, $1000, $10,000-really, there is no limit! Loving and positive thoughts are welcomed, too!
