We have a surprise: we are adopting!!!!
Our Story:
We started talking after class one day and when Stephanie told Andy that she had to walk across campus to make her next class, Andy just happened to have to go to the same building. What a coincidence! Turns out that this was a made up story so that he could keep talking to her. It was like we had always known each other. We graduated, moved in together, and got married in 2013, picking up a couple of silly dogs along the way.
After some time, we decided to grow our family. When we learned that biological children were not in our future, we realized that the universe was just pointing us to adoption. We are both eager to parent and look forward to welcoming a little one, protecting them, helping them grow, learn, and guide them through this life.
The Hope:
We are beyond excited and are doing everything that we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. After a lot of consideration, we have decided to ask our family and friends to help us bring this dream to fruition. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily exceed $40,000 so any support that we can get along the way is met with two deeply thankful hearts.
