So much has changed since we put up this story. Please read our update.

We have exciting news!

We are adopting a child!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption can be a very expensive process. We know that God has chosen us to be the parents of a wonderful child or children, so while we don’t know exactly how this will all come together, we know that He is faithful and will provide in amazing ways throughout this process!

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.

As many of know we have been "fostering" a set of twin girls for the last year and half. I say "fostering" because they aren't actually in the system, they were just given to us by their grandmother (through a mutual connection). Well the time has come for us to move forward with the adoption process. This of course means attorney and court fees which are very expensive and since the girls aren't in the system the state does not cover any of the cost. We truly appreciate everyone that has come along side us in the journey.
