In June Colleen was blessed with the amazing opportunity to travel with a friend who was adopting overseas. She left home saying she would never adopt from this country and that she "couldn&'t" do it because of how the program was set up. God laughed at her. He has indeed called her and her family back to the country she said she would never adopt from. While in country with her friend, Colleen met many children, most with families already in process of adopting them, but one little boy who she recognized, he still needed a family. On the last day there, Colleen went to give several kids some toys and as she was doing so, out strolled that little boy. Colleen knelt down to give him a toy and he grabbed her fingers, looked up at her, and smiled. They stayed in that exact spot for over 45 minutes, her talking to him with silent tears running down her face, and him holding her finger tight just smiling and not taking his eyes off of her. His baba cried for him, said he didn&'t have a Mama…we hugged and without words agreed his mama would be coming back soon. Never say Never! Please join us on our journey to bring him home! UPDATE 09/2014: Colleen traveled in June and met their 10 year old with Down Syndrome and 4 year old with Cerebral Palsy. They have court in October and will be bringing them home in November!
