Our family has been praying about growing our family through adoption for a few years now. We've been asking God, "When is the right time for us?" Our prayers have been answered. In September of 2016, our family heard about a little boy in need of a home and a family. The moment we heard his story, we looked at each other and knew that this little boy was our son and we needed to bring him home. Right now, this little guy is 7 years old and lives in a welfare center in China along with over 20 other children. We are working to bring him home to our family later this year but that journey is not easy. The paperwork alone can seem like a herculean effort. One of the biggest challenges in working to bring this little guy home is the financial burden. The cost of our international adoption may run from $30,000 - $35,000 or even $40,000 depending on travel expenses. Even with our family putting away as much extra money as possible to achieve this goal, it would be well over a year or two before we achieved this goal individually and with each passing day, there is a waiting child on the other side of the world, not knowing what tomorrow holds. As you can imagine, this is a long, difficult, and costly process and we thank you all for taking the time to read this and support us with your thoughts and prayers.
