We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child! Ever since we were engaged we knew we had a calling to adopt. Over the past year we have had struggles and heartbreak while trying to conceive a child, and as we type this there are a lot of unknowns regarding our fertility. We have decided that we are done waiting for a child…we are going to actively pursue one!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $55,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $50,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We cannot begin to express our thanks in your generosity towards our adoption journey, we feel so blessed to have you in our corner.
