is adopting a child

“When we adopt–and when we encourage a culture of adoption in our churches and communities–we’re picturing something that’s true about our God. We, like Jesus, see what our Father is doing and do likewise (John 5:19). And what our Father is doing, it turns out, is fighting for orphans, making them sons and daughters.

Russell D. Moore, Adopted For Life

We are so thankful for your interest in our adoption story. If you know us well, you know we have wanted to adopt for a long time - like since we were kids. Our hearts are so glad that God is giving us the privilege to add to our family in this profound way.

After a year and a half of being active in this process we have been matched with a birthmom! We are thrilled and can’t wait to meet our little one.

And what a gift it is to have you join us. Now that we have been matched with a birthmom and a baby, our total costs are becoming more clear. While we have been saving towards these costs, we are applying for grants, and there is a sizeable tax credit, we certainly welcome any contributions you feel led to give on our behalf.

Our current costs left to cover amount to about $65,000 so we are seting a goal to raise $40,000. (Just a note that your donations are tax deductible).

We love and ascribe to the idea that adoption is a communal effort, as is raising a family. We are humbled by your participation in our faithfulness to follow God in this vision for our future. We couldn’t do it without your generosity, prayers, pursuit, and love.

All our best,

Jason, Malorie, Mattie, & Max
