Hello,

We are trying to legally adopt my grandson. We have had him since he came home from the hospital at 1 day old.

The parents moved out when Little Man was 2 months old to the day. Unfortunately the county we live in will not even allow us to file the guardianship paperwork without an attorney. I have it completed and ready. The parents have now agreed to allow me to legally adopt him due to the numerous health issues that they cannot handle.

Just hoping to get some financial help to get the ball rolling. I am only seeking $10,000 to help with attorney fees. Every adoption attorney that I have spoke to says $5,000-$10,000 for uncontested adoption. At least the ones that work in our little rinky dink town.
