God has placed on our hearts the desire to have and raise children. We hope to surround our baby with family and friends who are just as excited to meet them, love them, and give them endless hugs and kisses like we are. We want those in his or her life to pour their hearts and lives into them, to teach them what it means to love, laugh, make mistakes, have fun, be respectful, and help others.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $50,000 to help ease the financial burden.
The more we have talked about it the more we understand that it isn’t about asking people for money. It is asking them to be a part of our story and our child's story in how they got to come home. So we are so excited about this PUZZLE FUNDRAISER!
It works like this:
We have a 2,000 piece puzzle
We are “selling” each piece for $25. You can choose to buy 1, 2, 3, or 10! There is no limit!
When you donate, you "purchase" a puzzle piece or pieces
We will then write your name on the back of the puzzle piece(s)
We will periodically update with a picture of the puzzle progress
The finished puzzle will hang in a double-sided glass frame for the child's room so that they can always look back and be reminded of who had a “piece” of bringing them home!
We hope that by inviting you into this journey, you will see yourself as part of the family we hope to build around our child as he or she grows up.
