is adopting a child from United States of America

_ We have BIG news! _

We are adopting a child!

While there are so many families out there that are also setting up fundraisers for their adoption process, I wanted to personalize this a little. My husband and I have been together since 2008. In 2015 we married and knew that we wanted children. I was diagnosed with PCOS which made it very hard for us to get pregnant. Then finally in September 2017 we found out we were pregnant- and so excited. On September 22nd, 2017 at 7:45am we found out we were pregnant with twins! Later that day- at 4:50pm, I miscarried both. We were devastated. Then in February 2018, we found out we were pregnant again on February 2nd. Sadly, that morning we also found out that it was an ectopic. I had emergency surgery that same day and lost another one of our angels. My husband I decided right then that we were not going to continue down the path of conception as we felt as though it was my body telling us not to.

This is why this fundraiser is so important to us. Adoption is crazy expensive and while we are doing everything we can to save up- any tiny donation to our adoption process will be greatly appreciated and we will always know who helped us in our time of need.

That being said- we are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $40,000.00 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.

Thank you to any and all who can join us and aid us in this miracle journey \<3
