I have always known that we wanted to expand my family through adoption, and after years of waiting and praying, I finally received the call that three siblings were in need of a loving and stable home. Without hesitation, I knew that these children were meant to be a part of my family.
The process of preparing for their arrival has been both exciting and overwhelming. I have been busy preparing my home, setting up bedrooms, and stocking up on all the essentials. I have also been working closely with social workers and adoption agencies to ensure that I am fully prepared to meet the needs of the children when they arrive.
While I am overjoyed at the prospect of bringing these children into my home, I also recognize the financial strain that comes with adoption. From legal fees to travel expenses to medical costs, the financial burden can be significant. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. That is why I have decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign to help alleviate some of these costs.
I am incredibly grateful for any support that I receive, whether it be through donations, words of encouragement, or simply sharing our story with others. I believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and I am hopeful that my community will rally around me as I embark on this new chapter of our lives.
