Years ago, when my baby girl came home to me she was 8 months old. I have had temporary guardianship since.
Her biological parent don't reach hardly ever.
We have watched her grow and develop into a beautiful young lady! We have worked for years to try to find help somewhere for adoption. All she has ever wanted is our last name and to feel permentantly accepted, adopted and forever home. The one thing we had the grasp of our hand. I had it in the palm of my hand and then covid struck. It had caused a major heart issue as part of long covid for my husband which had taken all of our savings including the 5k dollars in adoption funds we have worked so hard to save.
