We are adopting! LIKE, WE ARE ACTUALLY ADOPTING!
Our family has always felt a call to pursue adoption and after much prayer, we decided it was time to answer that call! This process has truly been a labor of love, but God continues to open doors for us to step through - getting us one step closer each day to our sweet, sweet baby.
As much as we wish it was an easy, low stress process - it's just not. The monetary burden of adoption is often the reason that families feel as though they cannot pursue a calling, but we have decided that we are going to trust in God and His perfect provision. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more depending on each child's circumstance. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 for our first fundraiser as way to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms and even turns away adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community that we hope to build around our child as they grow up. We consider every prayer, every thought, every word of encouragement, and every penny given as a treasure given to help make way for our growing family.
