Hi! We are a happily married couple living in Southern Indiana with 2 dogs and a cat. Our lives are full of fun, silliness, and adventure which we hope to share through adoption. We have made several mistakes in life, both together and separately, but learning from mistakes and using them to grow has given us an unconditional love we never imagined possible. After trying to conceive for several years, we learned IVF would be our last chance to have a biological child, but we felt that wasn'™t the right choice for us. In our hearts, we know that parenting a child doesn'€™t require a blood relation and decided adoption is the right path to parenthood for us. When we first started exploring adoption, the thought of open adoption totally freaked us out, but after lots of education and workshops our perspective has completely changed. We now know that children benefit from open adoption and are very supportive of an open adoption. We look forward to working together to create a plan that will honor and respect the level of openness our child'€™s birth parent(s) choose for them, their child, and their family. No matter what plan is chosen, our child will know their roots, that they are loved, and that their parents had their best interests in mind when creating a plan for them. As parents, our goal will be to provide an environment full of unconditional love, acceptance, and security where our children feel free to express themselves and know we are proud of them in every situation. We will be first time parents, and have a lot to learn! We are so excited to share our lives and watch our child grow, learn, and play.
