As a single woman I adopted my oldest daughter from Ethiopia in August of 2010. She is 3 1/2 years old now and full of energy. My experience in Ethiopia in 2010 was absolutely life changing. After seeing such precious children living in severe poverty I knew even before I was home with my first daughter that I would adopt again. I returned to Ethiopia and brought my second daughter home in 2012 and the fun began! She just turned 2 and is a treasure. Together they are the delight of my life. I used to think I wanted a big house and a fancy car. I have neither. Having children has changed my priorities. Watching them learn and hearing them laugh is more fulfilling than anything I have ever experienced. I have never felt so strongly about anything else, except that I am meant to be a Mom. I have a stable job and a suitable home and no idea why adopting costs a penny. But it does. I am prepared to raise and support my daughters from Ethiopia. Will you please help me bring the next one home?
