We have BIG news!
We are adopting a baby GIRL!
Hello we are the Polanco family Alika, Samantha, Kalea, Kekoa and Nohea. When Alika and I were dating and planning to get married we knew adoption was a big thing that was on our hearts. Flash forward 12 years and 3 kids down and we are finally adding a new little one to our family.
God had indeed been writing this story in only a way that he could. We are awaiting a baby girl to be born in August and we have had the honor of being alongside her and her mama as she has grown in her womb.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $13,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
As being a family in ministry we know it takes a village. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.
