My name is Bonnie and I am a single mother who enjoys parenting and who has a heart for adoption and families. The thought of a child not knowing the love of a personal family or being able to part of God&'s family is heartbreaking. I have 4 birth children, Shari and Kelli, 27, 28, both married , and two boys; Desmond, 19 and Tevin, 18, both in college . In 2007, I had the privilege of adopting my youngest daughter Zoe from China. Zoe is now 8 and had her heart repaired in 2009. I also have 6 grandsons. We have received pre-approval to adopt XiaoYu (Ever), a 11 year old special needs girl. XiaoYu has been in the orphanage since she was a baby. She has been living with the same foster family for 6 years. She likes taekwando,does well in school, helps at home and enjoys being a big sister to her younger foster brother. Ever sounds like an amazing girl whom will fit into our family perfectly. Being a single mom is tough sometimes but it is a joy I could not live without. Raising the money for Ever&'s adoption has been difficult.
