We have BIG news! We are ADOPTING! A chapter we have felt called to, prayed about and looked forward to for nearly 8 years now.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared in every way to welcome a baby girl into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign to help ease the financial burden. It may surprise you to hear that domestic adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more.
We strongly believe this is not a financial burden we are meant to carry on our own. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.
We will be providing updates for you all along the way via this site as well as Facebook. First step is completing our application packet ($550) and doing a required info session. We will then be able to schedule our home study ($2,400) and when that is completed we will owe the first big payment of $9,500!!
