The Presson family is expanding! We are adopting a child!
We have officially entered into the adoption process! During the last few years, we have spent countless time in prayer and talking about what the Lord may be doing in our hearts to prepare us for the journey of adoption. He has made it clear over the last few months that international adoption is the route for us and that although we are not 100% certain on the country placement yet it seems as though India may be the country we land on! We are beyond grateful to our friends who have gone before us in adoption who have answered ALL of our questions and patiently counseled us so far!
As part of our adoption process, we have started a support raising campaign. It may surprise you to hear that international adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
