We have always known adoption was going to be a part of building our family. We have three biological daughters, but we have always felt like we were "not all here, yet." We have friends who have been involved in orphan hosting, and we&'ve witnessed their amazing stories. In May, we felt a tug to be a part of this experience. Four weeks later, on June 29th, 2015, we met a scared, beautiful little 7 year old girl from China who quickly raced away with our hearts! Within 6 days, we knew God was asking us to make her our own! After 30 days, she went back to China with a chunk of our hearts! Now, the arduous process of making this calling of bringing her home forever a reality! We hope to have her home in the spring of 2016, but unfortunately, this process is not an inexpensive one! We are amazed as we watch God walk with us through this process and meet each need, often in the nick of time and more than once, through strangers. We are honored to be able to serve Him in this way. We are excited to watch so many people stepping up to say they want to be a part of bringing Grace home! We have created this vehicle to allow people to give as the Lord leads, and we thank you in advance. We can&'t wait to share with our little girl how many people loved her before they met her, and how God raised up many to be a part of her story. UPDATE MARCH 14, 2016 We leave in about 4 weeks, Lord willing, and we still need about $10,000 to cover travel expenses and orphanage donation, etc.
