We are so excited to share our adoption journey with our friends and family. We're currently working on an open adoption with an amazing agency in Oregon.
So far, our application was approved by the agency, and now we're in the home study phase. Once our home study has been approved, we'll be in the waiting pool until we are chosen by an expectant mom or couple to parent their child.
It may surprise you to know the costs of adopting an infant will be around $35,000 for us. We're so lucky to have help from our families, and we've worked to save for this expense. That's why we're setting our fundraising goal at $5000 to help ease the burden of the expense and be prepared for any unexpected costs that can arise.
