We are adopting another child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. We are working with an agency called All God's Children, and we are adopting from the Philippines!
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more (Our Korea adoption totaled about $45,000, 6 years ago).
This is why we have set an initial goal of $6,350 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. This goal covers the initial fee, which we need by Friday, December 31, 2021 in order to sign the contract. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We have been beyond blessed at how you stood alongside us in supporting the adoption of Benjhamin. I remember distinctly the day when we first heard how much it would cost to adopt from Korea. I began sobbing because I thought it would be impossible to do so. But you all proved me wrong. You stepped up alongside us in a big way, and we are eternally grateful. Can anyone imagine our life without Benjhamin?
