Andy Stanley Kristin and I are so excited to announce that we are adopting again! God has given us more than we could&'ve asked for with our first adoption which led us to our son, Caleb. It has been such a privilege to watch him thrive, explore, learn and grow over the past two years! We couldn&'t image where Caleb&'s life would be if we didn&'t obediently answer the call to adopt in the first place. This is exactly why we want to adopt again. We are eager to change the life of another baby! Adoption is not the call to have a perfect, rosy family. It is the call to give love, mercy and patience. There are millions of children in the world that need a loving home and we hope to be that home for one more baby! Unfortunately, the adoption process is lengthy, complicated and very expensive, but our mission is simple, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27. That&'s our call. And Jackson Brown, Jr. said it best, "Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do."
