We have big news! We are adopting a child!
We have spent the past year working with our adoption agency, Adoption Choices of Colorado, to fill out all necessary paperwork, complete our home study and training (required for all adoptive parents) and create our adoption profile book for prospective birth families. We are FINALLY at the point where we could be matched any day!
We are beyond excited and doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome our future child into our home.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption and adoption-related costs can total up to $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden that can overwhelm adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
