We are adopting a child!
We are excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a new little Riddle into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. Adoption from India averages between $35,00-$45,000. This is why we have set a goal of $315,00 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We have felt drawn to adoption since before we were married. We know that now is the right time and God has chosen one of India's 2 million orphans to be a part of our family. We also know that God will have to move financial mountains before we can cross the oceans to bring our child home.
We're asking our friends, families, and anyone with a heart for orphan care to help. Contributions are tax deductible.
We are excited about bringing our son or daughter home, but also about seeing how the Lord provides and carries us through this process.
While we are very much in need of funds, we would also be deeply grateful for your continued prayer and support. Specific prayer requests are : that God would be knitting our hearts together as a family of 6 through this process, that God would protect our son/daughter from trauma, and that God would be glorified through this adoption.
