We are the Robbins family and we&'re adopting from the Philippines! At the start of this adoption we knew that we wanted to adopt a waiting child. Waiting children typically are sibling groups, older, or special needs (minor to extensive special needs) children. We&'ve been matched with a precious little 3 year old girl. Our daughter has Down Syndrome and a congenital heart defect. We can&'t wait to get her home! God put this precious girl in our heart, and she will be a tremendous blessing to our family! We do give praise to our Lord because we have come so far in this process and without God none of this would have been possible. Below is a verse that we have kept in our hearts during this emotional roller coaster process called adoption. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
