We are starting a new journey as a family, a journey to 5 to be exact!
God placed on our hearts quite some time ago to grow our family through adoption, well that time has come and we are trusting in him and going forth with the process. We’ve known that this was something we wanted to do, so we’ve prayed about it(A LOT), talked about it (lots of this), and finally decided that we want to be faithful to God and fulfil his calling he put on our hearts! We have an immense amount of love to share in our home and absolutely cannot wait to add another bundle of joy!
We will start fundraising and such asap, as we don’t know the plans he has for us, we don’t know when a precious first Momma will choose us and we want to be as prepared as we can be!
Of course we will need our friends and families support, but most of all we will need lots of prayers. This is not a journey for the faint of heart, it is long, it is hard, and it is unknown. We need prayers for our family, our girls, our future birth Momma, our future child, and most importantly that we are able to remain calm, faithful to him, and steadfast. We pray daily for our worries to subside and for positive thoughts to take over, the unknown is debilitating, but we know HE is in charge and has a perfect plan for our family.
Please keep our family and our future babe’s family in your prayers, although we don’t know who they are yet, we know they will need just as much support as us if not more!
