Mallory Robinson

is adopting a child from Uganda

Friends!! How has 2018 flown by so fast?! Can you believe we have been on this adoption journey together for almost a year? We announced our adoption news on January 31, 2018!! This year has been insane in so. many. ways!

A little refresher: Liam was found abandoned in a market when I was in Africa in 2017. Jay and I had been talking about adoption and when I met Liam, we knew for sure that was the child we were meant to adopt. Liam's mom abandoned him at about 2 months old. Liam's dad worked hard but was extremely sick and could no longer care of Liam. His dad left him in the market with the intention that a women he knew would take care of Liam.

She lied and left him in the market.

Liam's dad was able to get some medical care, but eventually succumb to his illnesses. Liam has been under the care of some friends of ours that run a non-profit in Africa for orphaned and abandoned children. We are required to foster Liam for one year and officially became his foster parents on Nov. 8th, 2018. During the foster period - we will make several trips and I will need to make one long trip over the summer. We have about a year ahead of us, and then we can file in court and bring him home!!!

We started out with a fundraising goal of just shy of $50,000! This tribe and community has just shown up time and time again! We are down to the last $15,000 - $18,000 left!! We have made SUCH significant progress!!

We have a goal and every reason to believe Liam can and will be home with us by March of 2020. If you are the praying type, would you stand in the hope that he would spend Christmas 2019 with us? This would be a miracle and take our miracle maker to make happen!! BUT we are standing in belief and declaring it! Would you stand with us?

We are SO excited for this opportunity to allow our community to donate in a tax-deductible way. We have been searching and searching for the best organization to partner with in this regards and we are so excited to work with AdoptTogether.

Thank you for considering making a tax-deductible donation towards our adoption!

Much love and many blessings to you and your family!!

Jay, Mallory, Hallie, and Liam Robinson!!!
