Hello, Thank you for reading our story! We are excited to tell you about our upcoming adoption. We are pursuing adopting twin, 5.5 year old, boys from Bulgaria. One of them is blind. The other one is typically developing with normal instituational delays. Scott works on an assembly line for a major car maker. I, Jennifer, am a stay at home, home school mom. We have 3 biological children, James (6 yrs old), Suzannah (4.5 yrs old) and Alayna (3 yrs old). They are excited to have more brothers and have even told perfect strangers about the boys! Adoption has always been on my heart. In fact, before Scott and I married, I brought up the topic with him to see where he stood. He was open to it; I was glad! Our family enjoys going to the zoo, playing at parks, gardening, bird & squirrel watching, attending our Classical Conversations home school coop, church, AWANA, building blocks, playdough, and playing with friends. There seems to never be a dull at our house! If you are led to donate to our adoption, we would be very grateful and appreciative! We have spent about $5,000 so far ourselves but estimate costs will be about $26,000 with fees and travel. Thank you for your prayers and support! Update! I visited our boys in November! What a neat, fun time! They are so ready for a family and our sited son has been asking about parents. We hope to be able to bring them home by May 2015! Our blind son has more mobility than I had feared though still extremely delayed. The Robinson Family
