We were in China less than a year ago, adopting a delightful 8 year old girl with multiple, significant special needs. While visiting the Healing Home facility where she was receiving medical care, we also met a sweet little boy. He has a list of medical special needs that look scary on paper, but don&'t seem so important when looking at his smile. Having exhausted our financial reserves to adopt in 2012, we need to raise a significant portion of the adoption costs in order to return as soon as possible for our little man. He has been waiting for a family of his own for 5 long years. We are working as fast as we can to bring him home. We believe that God has called us to parent this little boy. We are trusting that God will meet every need as we step out in obedience. Please pray with us as we strive to make God&'s heart visible to another special child. August 25, 2013 ~ We started out needing $25,000 of our $32,000 adoption costs. God has provided all but the last $8,000. Please keep praying. We are getting so close! We can&'t wait to have Colton home.
