Aaron and Jordan Robison

are adopting a child from United States of America

We are the Robisons, and we have decided to adopt a child!

We are Aaron and Jordan Robison. We want to grow our family through domestic adoption and we would love your help through prayer, encouragement and your financial support. The only thing that has held us back from adopting sooner is this financial hurdle. The average adoption cost is around $35,000 dollars and can easily cost more.

As we sat in our community group one evening, tears in our eyes while sharing our heart for adoption, our wonderful friends encouraged us to step out in faith and that God would provide. This helped us to realize that we have an amazing community and support system, and that the Lord is bigger than the money it takes to bring a child into our home. God is a father to the fatherless and He desires that we care for orphans. “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James‬ ‭1:27‬

We realize that we need your help and support!

Here is our story: We have had a heart for adoption for as long as we can remember, but we didn't know how that would fit into our family. We got pregnant with our daughter quickly and without struggle. This gave us the false hope that having children would come easily to us. When Hannah, our daughter, was 6 months old I found out I was pregnant, but the next day I was rushed into emergency surgery due to it being an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy is when the baby starts to grow in the Fallopian tube instead of the uterus. This caused the tube to rupture, and the surgeons had to remove the damaged tube and the baby. To lose this child was devastating, but the doctors told us it was likely a random event and that there was still a healthy Fallopian tube on the other side. It was a rough recovery but soon after we were pregnant again. Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. By this time, we realized how hard it was to grow our family. We were feeling disappointed and frustrated that we were having this much trouble getting pregnant. Then, we got pregnant again! This time, we were much more skeptical that we would have another successful pregnancy. Thankfully, God blessed us with a baby boy. We knew this was a miracle! When our son, Levi, was 5 months old we learned we were pregnant again. This turned out to be yet another ectopic pregnancy, this time resulting in not only the loss of our baby but the loss of the ability to have any more biological children. This was a very hard season of life for us but also gave us a deep appreciation for what wonderful blessings the children we were given are to us. This also brought back to mind our desire for adoption. We have been praying about when to adopt for the last 3 years.

We are resting in the faith that the timing is now; God is calling us to bring a child into our home. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” ‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬. We are all so excited to welcome a child into our family. We trust that God will provide the funds we need to bring our child home.

If you feel led, please join us in prayer and/or financially support our adoption journey. Thank you for coming along with us during this season of life.
