We recently surrendered our lives, our family, and our plans to Jesus Christ. He's been creating beauty from our ashes ever since! We have 2 bio daughters and 2 children adopted in 2012 from Ethiopia. As adoptive parents, we've discovered that adoption isn't about family size or about our own capabilities; adoption is about Healing and Redemption - two of HIS specialties. In April, we found a 6-year old girl with Achondroplasia Dwarfism and other health issues on a waiting child list. As we moved through Haven's adoption process, we discovered there was a baby with dwarfism in China who was very sick, & we committed to bring him home as well, but he died before we could get to him. In the wake of this loss, we received the file for a 2-year-old boy named Aaron, also with dwarfism, and we saw that God had been working this boy into our hearts for a long time. Aaron will come home WITH Haven!
