We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child from Burundi, Africa! Kenny and I have both traveled to Africa and have witnessed first hand the reality of extreme poverty. Burundi is the 3rd poorest country in the world. Over 80% of Burundi’s population lives below the poverty line. As a result, over 680,000 orphans struggle to simply survive in Burundi.
We know that God planted seeds in our hearts during those visits that would eventually lead us to adopt from Africa. We believe that every child deserves the love of a family and we've got love to give! We are thrilled to follow the Lord in this story that only He could write for us. We know this is going to require a lot of prayer, patience, faith, and trust in His plan for our family and we can't wait to allow Him to use us for His glory!
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he grows up. Beyond anything, we ask that you join us in prayer for the little boy who already occupies much of our hearts!
