We have BIG news!!
We are ADOPTING AGAIN!!
Many of you walked with us and prayed with us as we shared our struggles with infertility and we felt God's calling to adopt. You also followed our story as we went through our first adoption. Ross and I began trying to have a family at the beginning of 2018. After trying for about a year in a half, we started to get worried that we might not be about to conceive a child. We then went to a fertility clinic for evaluation. They really couldn’t find anything major, so we proceeded with IVF with the best of hopes. During this time we had two transfers which both ended in miscarriage. We discovered that there was a genetic disorder which would make it highly unlikely that we would ever be able to have children of our own.
On the due date of our first baby, Ross and I decided to spend the day in the mountains to reconnect to each other and to spend time with God and decide what was next for our family. Neither of us wanted to give up on growing a family, we knew we both wanted to be parents. After time together in prayer we felt God leading us towards adoption. After making that decision, we began research the prospect of adopting. In April 2022, we adopted a beautiful baby girl who is now so excited to be a big sister! We knew we always wanted two or more children. We started talking about adding another child to our family. We began praying and felt the calling to adopt again.
First and foremost we ask for your prayers as begin waiting for another precious baby. We ask for prayers for their birth parents who are making the hard decision, give them guidance and wisdom and prayers for the baby God has planned for our home. However, with the cost of adoption raising anywhere from $35,000 - $45,000 (sometimes higher). The amount can become overwhelming, but we know that God will provide for us like He always does. We are setting up this Adopt Together crowdfunding page, if you would like donate towards our adoption and you would like your donation to be tax deductible. Other ways to help would be through prayers, diapers, or you can contact us for other direct ways.
We appreciate yours prayers, support and love you have given us!
Thank-you! Ross and Meggan
