Dear Friends and Family,
JUNE 2024:
Baby Lincoln was born May 21st at 4:00 am healthy, with a head full of hair! Our family of four is now waiting out the ICPC process (the governments time to approve us to leave the state) in Florida where baby was born. Until we receive official approval from GA to return home, we must remain within state lines. We still have not reached our goal to afford this adoption so we are updating this site in hopes to share our story and spread the word. We hope to be able to bring baby Lincoln home within the next two weeks (hopefully sooner!).
We appreciate you all for joining us on this wild journey. Hope you enjoy the photo updates till Lincoln can meet you in person! Xo
APRIL 2024:
We have been keeping a secret. We have once again, by the sweet grace of God and his faithfulness, matched with a birth mom! This kind, loving and inspiring mom has chosen our family. Not only, did I have the privilege of meeting her but i got to see baby through ultrasound. Our little boy is due in just a few weeks!
Having gone through our highs and lows throughout our adoption journey, it is hard not to worry about the “what ifs” but we truly believe this is the one. The one God prepared us for back in November. We are excited to continue to share in this whole experience with you, thank you for supporting us!!
MARCH 2024:
PRAYING FOR A MATCH TO GROW OUR FAMILY. As we continue to work with adoption agencies our hearts remain vulnerable. Our profile is open to any and all birth mothers to review and consider our family. All raised funds are held by AdoptTogether, until we hit our goal, are officially matched and then funds are sent directly to the agency. We appreciate all of you so much for your continued support!!
JAN 2024:
Our adoption came crashing down when birth mama decided to change her plans for adoption and rightfully decided to raise her baby. Although our world felt to come crashing down, we of course fully support birth mom and her decision. We wish nothing but a beautiful & love filled future for birth mom and baby.
In the meantime, we begin our journey again in the waiting. Praying and keeping our hearts wide open.
Thank you for your support, next time around, we are more prepared then ever, thanks to you all!!
NOV 2023: We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful news that we have been chosen by a birth mom to adopt her baby! We are overjoyed and grateful for this opportunity to grow our family and give a child a loving home.
Our baby is due in December, and we are busily preparing for his arrival (that’s right, our sweet Roman gets a BROTHER!). We are excited and nervous as we embark on this new chapter in our lives, but we know that with your support, we can do this. We trust in Gods timing and plan for our lives.
We understand that adoption can be costly, and we would like to humbly request your assistance in helping us with the expenses associated with bringing our baby home. Your donation, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards the adoption costs (legal fees, agency fees, and travel expenses).
We are considering hosting a fundraiser event, a raffle and seeking out participation from local restaurants & businesses to donate proceeds.
We are so grateful for each and every one of you in our lives, and we thank you in advance for your generosity. We cannot wait to introduce our baby to you all in the coming months.
With love and gratitude,
Roy, Sandra & Roman (soon to be big brother!)
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers, donations and support. We couldn’t have grown our family again without the love of our community.
We are beyond grateful for our new baby boy!! And enjoying every moment.
God bless and be well!

We wanted to wish you a happy and healthy thanksgiving!! We are so thankful for your friendship and community. We wanted to share this prayer with you,
Heavenly Father, As we gather on this day of Thanksgiving, we remember the words of Holy Scripture that call us to give thanks in all circumstances. Lord, we thank You for the countless blessings You have bestowed upon us, both in times of joy and in times of challenge.
We are grateful for the love of family and friends who surround us, for the food on our table, and for the shelter over our heads. Most of all, we thank You for Your presence in our lives, for Your grace, and for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Help us, dear Lord, to always maintain hearts filled with gratitude, not just on this special day but every day of our lives. May we continue to count it all joy and to give thanks in all things. In Jesus' name, we offer this prayer of thanksgiving. Amen.
I know you're all probably tired of see our fundraiser links, football pools and local gingerbread house events but I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who has shared a post, prayed over our family, supported financially or through words of encouragement, WE LOVE YOU! We are so beyond blessed to have SO MANY incredibly kind people in our lives, near and far, old and new. Thank you, sincerely.
I want to give everyone a little background incase you are wondering.
As most of you know Roy and I were beyond blessed by the adoption of our son Roman in 2020. The Monday call that went something like "hi we have a mom in labor, do you want to submit your profile?" Hours later..
"Congratulations she picked you! Go meet your baby" it was wildly incredible and a memory I will NEVER forget.
We kept all the baby things as Roman grew and prayed one day we would be able to adopt again. Moving out of Florida for Roy's job to SC, put us in waiting.. then to GA.
Where the laws and process are different and everything just seems more difficult.
We knew this time around we wanted to work through the state to become licensed as foster parents and adopt through the foster care system. We have been on this journey for the last 10 months, it's slow, the state workers are.. trying. But it's unorganized and frustrating, papers were lost and found or replaced.. etc.
About 4 weeks ago we learned we were FINALLY placed in the final stage and would soon reach the finish line. but GOD. He has the absolute best way of showing us that our plans are not HIS plans and HE knows what's best.
I received the (second) most unexpected call from the same agency we worked with for Roman. It was 8am and she said, did you get my email?
No.
Check it, there's a birth mom in an urgent situation, I need your profile by 10am. Now we don't have a profile this time. This wasn't our plan. No canva created "look book" with info and photos that make us appealing.
So I prayed and asked God for the words. I typed up a letter, a little about us and sent 5 images along. PRAYED and TRUSTED.
Hours later birth mom wanted to talk with me.
We learned we were chosen. AGAIN. The absolute best news for us, a hard and painful decision for a birth mom. It gives real hard emotions.
It's been two weeks since we got this news. We jumped right in & once again our community of family and friends has supported us like no other. We didn't plan for a private adoption but we are trusting God has this under control.
Birth mom is due Dec 16th. Pray over her heart and mind. I love her though I'll probably never get the chance to meet her.
And pray over baby that he is born healthy and will be happy in our family.
And pray over Roman that he will embrace having a little brother and love him, protect him and always be his best buddy.
Thank you all again, So much. Truly.
